Storage is a fixed personal ceiling, not something that grows with imaginary seats. You see how much you have used.
Personal
Solicitors in chambers, independent counsel, a founder keeping a data room before the company exists. They need named shares, versions, signatures and a record. Personal is Casewelt for that person. One portal user. Organisation seats, SSO and a firm host stay on organisation plans.

How you arrive
Organisation customers live on a host named for them. Personal customers use one shared door. Administration sits in the user menu. There is one portal user. A later firm login uses that firm’s host.
One email maps to one active Personal account. You do not collect a stack of forgotten personal tenants.
What you get
Storage is a fixed personal ceiling, not something that grows with imaginary seats. You see how much you have used.
Send a document to a named person, pin the version, set an expiry, take it back. They never see a workspace they do not belong in.
A monthly allowance of standard electronic signatures. EU Qualified is an organisation capability, not a Personal one.
Each version is protected by Casewelt’s governed encryption and remains tied to its file history.
Bind a folder on your computer. Files sync with your portal Desktop after you approve the machine. Upload shows progress on the status line.
You can see what you did. Investigations, sealed evidence packages and legal hold sit on organisation plans.
Public checkout and trial creation are currently closed. Contact us to discuss Personal access.
When to choose a firm plan instead
Personal is one individual. The moment you need SSO, legal hold, custom roles, an API, or a host named for the firm, you want Core, Business or Enterprise. Those plans bill per internal seat. External recipients still do not count as seats.
If you already have an organisation login, you use that firm’s host. Personal and the firm are not mixed on the shared portal on purpose, so a client never lands in the wrong door.
Start with one matter
We will put it in Personal, send a named share, and show you what the recipient actually sees.
